The Book

The Immigrant in Me

A children's picture book

Based on true story.

What does it mean to grow up carrying two worlds inside you? To see yourself in different places, and wonder where you truly belong?

The Immigrant in Me follows a boy born in Oklahoma,

the American-born son of a mother who crossed an ocean to build a life in a new place.

Warm, honest, and quietly powerful - this is a book for any child who has ever felt the pull of two worlds or more, but realized none of it matters as they accept each other just the way they are.
